classes we offer

Here at Melodyx, we provide the best possible experiences, developing skills from a range of areas of the Performing Arts Industry. In addition to our Musical Theatre sessions, the additional classes we provide are uniquely tailored to enhance basic skills with a Musical Theatre focus. The classes we currently offer are:

MPA FAMILY VOICES

Family Voices is where it all began for us, creating a safe space for performers to sing and collaborate together as one unified group. It spans across the age ranges 5-55+, and all members come together to sing and create musical masterpieces.

Limber & loosen

An all ages, all abilities acrobatic and flexibility class. This class will focus on conditioning and strengthening to help our performers begin to understand and perform acrobatics. It will teach the core fundamentals to acrobatics with a focus on developing skills for life with injury prevention and good technique.

MPA NEXT GENERATION

Next Generation (Next Gen), is where our youngest performers have their opportunity to develop their craft and shine on our stage. Next Gen gives the teaching team a chance to work with our younger members exploring their potential and building their confidence.

TUESDAY NIGHT BALLET

An all ages, all abilities ballet focused class. Here our teaching team will focus on developing the fundamentals and basics of ballet. The class will help performers to develop their understanding and technique whilst allowing them to develop in their dance pathway supporting their love of musical theatre.

MPA LEGACY

We believe that you are never too old to develop a love for Musical Theatre, our Legacy group offers an environment for older performers (11+) to come and join us on our stage. Legacy will help those who wish to find their voice again or offer a space for you to simply let loose and perform.

MPA FITNESS

An all ages, all abilities fitness class, will cater to all and will help you achieve your fitness goals, come get fit with your Melodyx family.

THEATRE FACES

An all ages, all abilities acting class, enabling students to develop confidence in performance, whilst also learning about the craft in greater detail. Looking at monologues, duologues, improvisation and more.

THINK, MAKE, CREATE

This exciting new class gives members an exclusive behind the scenes look at what it takes to put together a show. From costume, to set and props design, Music & budgets.

INNER VOICES

An all ages, all abilities vocal class, diving in to the intricate deals of vocals, harmonies and the theory behind it. Introducing members to the wide range of music, how to read, write and create music of their own.

1-1 vocal & dance tuition

Vocal tuition starting in September 2024.

TOP-NOTCH TAPPERS

If you love tap and want to begin to learn how to develop you tap ability, then this is the class for you. Learn and understand tap terminology, how different sounds are created, whilst developing musicality.
